Short Story Review: Books, Beads and Baubles by Mary J Hicks

Books, Beads and Baubles is a mix of up-scale thrift shop and book shop in Willow Bend, Oklahoma run by Bertie and Wanda, twin sisters in their seventies.  This little shop is the hub of the local community.  They know all their customers and they do their best to help others where they can.  It’s a nice little community, full of good, kind people.

But when books start to go missing from the new ‘read-n-return’ section of the shop, can they get to the bottom of what’s going on?  The elderly sisters are determined to solve the mystery.

Books, Beads and Baubles is a charming, light-hearted short read, one I would recommend to lovers of cosy mysteries.
